Micro SD Card

Hi there,

I bought a ZUS Smart Dash Cam and now I’m looking to buy a MicroSD card to work with the device.

I’m a little confused as the box says it requires a Class 10 MicroSD Card, Max 64GB, but there are numerous different MicroSD cards that fit the bill, more specifically, MicroSDHC and MicroSDXC.
I’m not even sure I can find a pure MicroSD.

Are SDHC and SDXC compatible?

Thanks a lot.

They are compatible, yes. MicroSD is “just” the form factor (not a SD card, a MicroSD). SDHC and SHXC tells you a capacity factor. HC stands for High Capacity, XC for eXtended Capacity.

I would recommend something like this: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Endurance-microSDHC-Adapter-Monitoring/dp/B07P14QHB7/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=SDSQQNR-032G&qid=1561890544&s=gateway&sr=8-1

It’s perfectly geared towards dash cams and other home security cams, as it withstands many more read/write cycles than a standard MicroSD card.

I agree, High Endurance MicroSD cards are the best for continuous recording and overwriting.
